Real Estate Agent:
Has successfully completed a 60 clock hour course in real estate fundamentals.  Has passed the salesperson's state examination.

Broker:
Holds a high school diploma or the equivalent.  Has at least 2 years experience within the last five years as a full time real estate salesperson in his state or another with similar licensing requirements.  Has successfully completed 120 clock hours of approved real estate education courses within the previous five years including one 30 clock hour course in real estate law and 60 clock hours in broker management.  Has passed the state brokers' examination.
